H is opinion is exceptiona l . With Downcast Eyes i s a masterpiece by this author . I n this masterpiece , h e displays the problems o f a n African girl in two parts ( before and after immigration ) . The setting of this masterpiece containes the oppositions through which we can interpret the notions i n t he text . There fore , t his research i s a n opportunity t o study i n this masterpiece , t he oppositions through w h i c h w e c a n understand t h e author 's aims and messages .
