The Influence of Surrealism on Contemporary Thought
Abstract
Post modernism and its related issues are deeply sown in contemporary western literature and thereby prevalent in the works of several writers. One of these domains could be the "Surrealist Movement", at the beginning of the twentieth century in France. In this paper, without referring to details of this school, we have assigned a research to common aspects of vision in this kind of literature and issues we witness in contemporary thought. Although many papers have been written in western countries on the "Surrealist Movement", none the less considering the new appearance of some qualities in recent years and mutation of human sciences, it will be necessary to find links between the surrealist world and the current situation, and to compare some messages of this movement on recent achievements of literature and philosophy. Therefore, this paper attempts to point out these similarities in three sections.
