A high rate of mythological and mystical elements used alongside each other shows their significance and qualifies them for more explanation. <br />This study investigates, the unity of twin myths in the text and secondly the style and literary techniques of the story in relation to the unity and it finally shows that the Missing Rose has been an appropriate ground reflecting the myths of Artemis and Saint Marry. Ozkan presents a modern and new interpretation of these ancient myths and eventually creates a unity and identity between them, which in turn confirms the great mythologist Joseph Campbell’s theory of the monomyth suggesting that the oriental and western mythologies, in spite of all opposite characteristics, are derived from a common myth.This study پshows that the narrative style is in perfect balance and artistic harmony with the theme of the story and the narrative style has been used in an effective way to reveal the theme. این نوشتار به تحلیل رمان «رز گمشده» می‌پردازد. بسامد بالای عناصر اسطوره‌ای و مولفه‌های عرفانی در کنار یکدیگر، حضور هر کدام از آن دو دسته را در این رمان دلالت‌مند ساخته است. در این پژوهش، اولا وحدت اسطوره‌های دوقلو در متن و ثانیا فرم داستان و شگردهای ادبی آن در ارتباط با وحدت مذکور تحلیل شده و نشان داده شده است که رمان مذکور بستر بسیار مناسبی برای بازتاب اسطوره‌های آرتمیس و مریم مقدس است. ازکان از این اسطوره‌های قدیمی، خوانشی نو کرده و سر انجام میان آنها این‌همانی و وحدت ایجاد کرده است و بدین سان مهر تایید دیگری بر نظر جوزف کمبل اسطوره شناس بزرگ زده است که معتقد است اسطوره‌های متفاوت و دوگانۀ شرق و غرب علی رغم خصایص متضادی که دارند، در ابتدا یکی بوده و از یک اسطورۀ واحد مشتق شده‌اند. نیزنشان داده شده است که فرم داستان با درونمایۀ اصلی آن دارای هماهنگی و تناسب دلالت‌مند و هنرمندانه‌ای است و فرم داستان به نحو موثری در خدمت درونمایۀ اصلی رمان قرار گرفته-است. https://jor.ut.ac.ir/article_80058_ae2a7b51bf22fe9bc3edb6c772739326.pdf
