This research pragmatically focuses on Judith Butler's Gender Trouble theory and Eliza in <em>Pygmalion</em>. To Butler, whose theory of 'gender trouble' and 'performativity' is based on Austin and Searle's Speech Act Theory, the ignored and undermined feminine identity can practically revive. Butler, in favour of post-structuralism and under the influence of French feminism, views gender identity and performativity of gender in multiple disciplines such as, phenomenology, psychology, pragmatics and most evidently linguistics. The paper attempts to show the progressive views of George Bernard Shaw in that a woman can be strong and find her own identity; experience change in a short time and manage to adapt to the situation quickly. هر چند ممکن است تلاشهای جودیت باتلر در نمایاندن رنج و محنتِ جنسیت، شناسایی و شناساندن معنایِ هویتِ زنانه در کنار تردیدهای موجود هویتی تنانه تازه بنماید، با اینحال پیشینه ای بس دراز دارد. دردسرِ هویتی-جنسیّتی مورد توجّه وی آمیزه ای از رویکردهای زبانشناختی-فلسفی  مبتننی بر مفاهیم پراگماتیک زبان است که مستقیماً برگرفته از فلسفه زبانِ مشهود در آرای جان آستین و جان سِرل در باب کُنش زبانی است. توجّه پساساختارگرایانه باتلر به هستی شناسی ونگاه معناشناختی او به کُنش زبانی واجراگری حال و هوای فمینیسم فرانسوی دارد. توجّه مقاله حاضر به رویکرد کنش زبانی، اجراگری جنسیّتی باتلر و بررّسی پراگماتیک آن <em>در پیگمالیون</em> اثرجورج برنارد شاو می باشد. https://jor.ut.ac.ir/article_77636_7b6bcacb0d217eae6a0a334b49694920.pdf
