A review of literature demonstrates the fact that the mirror of literature has not portrayed an appealing image of women. This principle makes more sense in the stories with a Hindu origin since Hinduism has always been associated with patriarchy and repressing the woman. One thousand and One Nights is also a work with the Iranian-Hindu origin and has reflected the writing of orientalists. One of the orientalists interested in One thousand and One Nights is Gobineau who has authored many stories with oriental content. In this article, the women's profile is comparatively investigated in One thousand and One Nights and the Asian Novels of Gobineau. This comparative study shows the similarity of attitudes towards women in the two work and reveals the effects on One thousand and One Nights on this orientalist. چکیده<br /> ادبیات آیینهی هر اجتماع انسانی است و توجه به سیمای زن در ادبیات هر فرهنگ میتواند گویای جایگاه زن در اجتماع خویش باشد. بررسی ادبیات متاسفانه بیانگر این مطلب است که این آیینه تصویر زیبایی از زنان به خوانندهی خود ارائه نمیدهد. این اصل در داستانهایی با ریشهی هندی بیشتر نمود پیدا میکند، چرا که آیین هندو با مردسالاری و زنستیزی همراه بوده است. هزار و یک شب نیز با ریشهای هند و ایرانی از این قاعده مستثنی نیست و این درونمایه بر نویسندگان شرقشناس نیز تاثیر گذاشته است. گوبینو از جمله شرقشناسان فرانسوی علاقمند به هزار و یک شببوده که حکایات بسیاری با درونمایههای شرقی نگاشتهاست. در مقاله حاضر سعی شده است که با تحلیل نمودهای زنستیزی در هزار و یک شبو داستانهای آسیایی گوبینو به تاثیر پذیری این نویسنده از هزار و یک شبپرداخته شود. این بررسی نشان از تشابه نمودهای زنستیزی در دو اثر یاد شده دارد. https://jor.ut.ac.ir/article_69897_1f547fe7c0f9ebbeb87cdb9891a27362.pdf
