No doubt, Svevo’s work provides a new model that following various European theories like those of Nietzsche, Freud, Karl Marx and finally Darwin, presents to us man with his general inability to create an satisfactory and normal relationship with others. Elio Vittorini is one of the Italian literary critics of the Twentieth century who feel the need for a renewal and radical literary innovation in the novel genre. He searches a radical change in the genre of the Italian novel in accordance with european models which can express various existential problems of modern human society where man finds himself involved in many difficulties every day. So, the absolute model of a psychoanalytic novel is offered by Italo Svevo. در ایتالیای قرن بیستم نویسندگانی چون پرتزولینی، پاپینی و ورگا با توجه به اینکه به ساختاررمان کلاسیک قرن نوزدهم متصل بوده و در سبک نوشتاری از لئوپاردی و مانتزونی تقلید کرده اند، در نوسازی ادبیات قرن بیستم و به خصوص رمان نقش خاصی ایفا نکرده اند، لذا رمان در قرن بیستم می بایست با نیاز فرهنگی و اجتماعی انسان عصر جدید آشنا باشد و این همخوانی به نظر برخی منتقدین فقط از طریق حرکت به سمت رمان مدرن اروپا ممکن ا ست. ایتالو ازوو در این سالها با پیروی از برخی تئوری های تفکر غربی در رمان خویش به بررسی رابطه فرد با دیگران در جامعه مدرن می پردازد و بدین سان رمان ایشان دارای نوآوری های حائز اهمیت است. این مقاله ضمن پرداختن به شرایط و ویژگی های فعالیتهای ادبی دهه سی قرن بیستم و با بررسی برخی نویسندگان مجله سولاریا سعی بر آن دارد شرایط فرهنگی و ادبی ای که با آن جامعه ایتالیا به استقبال ایتالو ازووُ می رود را مورد بررسی قرار دهد. https://jor.ut.ac.ir/article_61446_4c61298801b96e3a4eb955319b25e4b7.pdf
