A survey of different<br />discourses during this period delineates the anxiety and fear of the<br />Renaissance man from woman's language. This anxiety is entrenched in the<br />western and Christian narratives and myths. Analyzing the Renaissance culture<br />through surveying some penal devices for controlling the tongue of women and<br />reading Shakespeare's <em>The Taming of the Shrew</em>, we have delineated how<br />Shakespeare has satirized Renaissance man's anxiety who shows his superiority<br />by attempting to cut the female tongue and hence to make her silent. The comic<br />figure, contrary to what people in Renaissance and some critics may think, are<br />men, who try to control femininity by cutting her tongue, rather than the<br />shrew.</span> <span dir="RTL" lang="FA" style="font-family: 'Traditional Arabic','serif'; font-size: 10pt; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: FA; mso-no-proof: yes;">مقالة حاضر تلاشی است برای تحلیل تفکر رنسانس دربارة زن و شیوه‌های<br />رایج آن دوره در سرکوب صدای زنانه، آنگونه که در نمایشنامة رام‌کردن زن سرکش اثر ویلیام<br />شکسپیر نمود یافته است. بررسی شرایط فرهنگی حاکم بر دورة رنسانس نشان می‌دهد که یکی<br />از ویژگی‌های این دورة تاریخی، هراس و وحشت مرد از صدای زن است. این هراس، که ریشه<br />در روایت‌های اساطیری، ادبی و مذهبی غرب دارد، در آثار ادبی این دوره به وضوح نمود<br />یافته‌است. در این مقاله با بررسی نمایشنامة رام‌کردن زن سرکش، تلاش کرده‌ایم چگونگی<br />سرکوب زن را در این دوره آشکار کرده و نشان دهیم که چگونه شکسپیر با برجسته‌سازی گفتمان‌های<br />مردانگی و زنانگی و تناقضات موجود در آن‌ها در اوایل دورة مدرن، که دورة گذار در تفکر<br />و فرهنگ غرب است، تلاش مرد رنسانس را به باد انتقاد گرفته‌است. برای تبیین بحث به شیوة<br />ماتریالیزم فرهنگی از متون گوناگون تاریخی و تعدادی از پوسترهای معاصر استفاده کرده‌ایم.</span> https://jor.ut.ac.ir/article_50906_058c1aad0570f4234943a9506623ddf5.pdf
