In" Swan love" Marcel Proust analyses "love" and its effects on the human psyche. According to his opinion, love entangles human beings and can not create a spritual relation among them. In this idea then, the theme of love is only suffering in isolation, a lonely relation that is futile and based on " lie".By representing a new image of the concept of love, Proust believes that it is a trivial misunderstanding which begins with doubts, restlessness and instability and terminates with the feeling of tiredness and annoyance. This article studies the linguistic structure of Proust's masterpiece and analysis his view about "love". از میان مفاهیم گوناگون مطرح شده در ادبیات، بی‌گمان مفهوم «عشق» یکی از جذاب‌ترین و در عین حال چالش برانگیزترین موضوعاتی است که در اشکال مختلف به آن پرداخته شده است. مارسل پروست نیز در «عشق سوان» به تحلیل عشق و بررسی تأثیرات آن بر روان آدمی می‌پردازد. از دیدگاه او، عشق حاصلی جز سرسپردگی در برابر معشوق نیست، و از ایجاد پیوند روحی در میان آنها ناتوان است. پروست شالودة عشق را بر بنیاد محرومیت استوار می‌کند. پیوند عاشقانة سوان و اودت نیز به عنوان نمونه‌ای از یک رابطة عاشقانة نافرجام است که نتیجه‌ای جز شکست در بر ندارد. پروست با ارائة تصویری نو از مفهوم عشق، آن را حاصل یک سوء تفاهم کم اهمیت می‌داند که با تردید، ناآرامی و بی‌ثباتی آغاز می‌شود، و با دلزدگی و ملال پایان می‌پذیرد. این مقاله، به تحلیل دیدگاه‌های پروست دربارة عشق در «عشق سوان» می‌پردازد. https://jor.ut.ac.ir/article_19536_0913f33823040f9af4721e3ffb8693e8.pdf
