This paper aims to examine the approaches of the different translators of this Sura in regard to Word Equivalence in translation of religious texts. The case study of the translations of the Sura Hamd confirms the fact that the translation of the sacred and revealed texts engulfs delicate complications due to cultural differences between the source and the target language. The results of this applied study illustrate the possible solutions to overcome the Word Equivalence challenge, and set an objective paradigm for translators of religious texts. این مقاله مطالعه و بررسی تطبیقی شصت و سه ترجمه انگلیسی سوره حمد قرآن مجید است. این نوشتار بر آن است تا نشان دهد که مترجمان انگلیسی این سوره‘ چگونه مشکل تعادل واژگانی را به عنوان جزئی از تعادل ترجمه ای حل کرده اند. بررسی موردی ترجمه های انگلیسی سوره حمد‘ بیانگر این واقعیت است که معادل یابی واژگانی در ترجمه متون مذهبی‘ به علت تفاوت های فرهنگی زبان مبدأ و مقصد‘ از پیچیدگی های خاصی برخوردار است. نتایج این تحقیق کاربردی نشان می دهد که مترجمان این سوره‘ بر اساس مبانی نظری ترجمه‘ راهکارهای خاصی را برای نیل به تعادل واژگی برگزیده اند. بنابراین تبیین این راهکارها‘ با ذکر نمونه و مثال‘ می تواند راهگشا و الگویی عینی برای مترجمان متون مذهبی باشد. https://jor.ut.ac.ir/article_14594_c0b56bab2fc338f707cd0ea3fd21fb87.pdf
