The majority of Russian authors believe that without considering translating literature it will not be possible to have a complete picture of local and national literatures. Next, the impact of the translation of the Holly Koran on Pushkin's "Following the Koran" has been shown. Some chapters of Koran, that from the writer's point of view, are the source of inspiration and composition of the first strophe of the poem of "Following the Koran", have been mentioned.
