The frequent references to the events and literary works of the eighteenth century England have enriched the play as they attest the presence of profound meanings behind the characters’ live dialogues. This paper is an attempt to investigate the literary and social meanings of the play in the light of Mikhail Bakhtin’s concepts of “carnival,” “dialogism,” and “chronotope” to examine the existing dialogues and the temporal and spatial elements of the text in order to elucidate how Goldsmith, through creation of a carnivalesque situation, illustrates a society in which the voices of the servants, women, and those who are subordinated to higher authorities attain significance and are heard while the imposed social norms and ideologies of the authorities who marginalize the voice of the lower classes are questioned.}, keywords = {Dialogism,Carnivalesque,Grotesque Body,degradation,chronotope,and Oliver Goldsmith}, title_fa = {بررسی سه مضمون باختینی کارناوال، گفت‌وگوگرایی و کرونوتوپ در نمایشنامة سر فرود آورد تا پیروز شود یا اشتباهات یک شب اثر الیور گلدسمیث}, abstract_fa = {نمایشنامة سر فرود آورد تا پیروز شود یا اشتباهات یک شب را می‌توان نقطة اعتلای زندگی ادبی الیور گلدسمیث دانست. ارجاعات متعدد به رخدادها و آثار ادبی قرن هجدهم انگلستان، بر غنای نمایشنامه افزوده و گواه حضور معانی عمیق در پس مکالمات زندة شخصیت‌هاست. در این نوشتار، معانی ادبی و اجتماعی این نمایشنامه بررسی میشود. برای نیل به این هدف، مفاهیم کارناوال، گفت‌وگوگرایی و کرونوتوپ میخائیل باختین بهکار گرفته میشود تا با بررسی گفتمان‌های موجود در متن و عناصر زمانی و مکانی، روشن شود که چگونه گلدسمیث با خلق شرایطی کارناوالی، جامعه‌ای را به‌تصویر می‌کشد که در آن، صدای خدمتکاران، زنان و آنان که زیر سلطۀ صاحبان قدرت‌اند، اهمیت مییابد و شنیده می‌شود؛ درحالی‌که هنجارهای تحمیل‌شدۀ اجتماعی و ایدئولوژی‌های قدرت‌مدارانی که سعی در انزوای صدای طبقات فرودست دارند، به چالش کشیده می‌شوند.}, keywords_fa = {Dialogism,Carnivalesque,Grotesque Body,degradation,chronotope,and Oliver Goldsmith}, url = {https://jor.ut.ac.ir/article_57085.html}, eprint = {https://jor.ut.ac.ir/article_57085_e6db15d5efa7b68d492633d589e9d8b8.pdf} }
